Papagayo
Sitting right on Troya Beach in Playa de las Américas, Papagayo is the only club in the Canary Islands to appear in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs — ranked #76 in 2026. The venue runs a proper day-to-night concept: Mediterranean food and sunset drinks on the terrace give way to a serious club night across two floors, five bars and a central dancefloor with a state-of-the-art sound system. Music policy changes every night of the week — house, Afro house, Latin, tech house — and the DJ bookings are consistently strong. Expect it to be packed by 1am on weekends.

Mala Mía
Tucked away on Calle México — locals call it Surfer Street — Mala Mía has carved out its own space well away from the typical tourist circuit. The vibe is urban and unapologetically Latin: reggaeton, urban sound and open format nights draw a younger, mostly local crowd that actually knows how to dance. The room has a sleek look — white couches, purple and pink lighting — but there's nothing pretentious about it. Cocktails are affordable, the energy builds fast and the ladies' nights have become a bit of a Tenerife institution.

Monkey Beach
Monkey Beach has been running beach parties on Playa de Troya since 2007, which makes it something of a legend in Tenerife's nightlife scene. The setup is bigger than most people expect — a full beachfront club with multiple bars, a restaurant, a rooftop pool area and a large stage that has hosted names like Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Every Wednesday through the summer season they throw The White Party — one of the most talked-about nights on the island, where the all-white dress code meets an open-air dancefloor and a crowd that really commits to the occasion.
